Dakota Family farm is now a Part of west River Haven
“For the new year of 2021, the Haines family is looking to build upon the foundations of a long-time Gregory business. In December 2020, Bill and Marta Haines offered their hunting business, Dakota Family Farms, for sale. Dakota Family Farms, a well-established and long-standing business in the Gregory community, has been a staple since 2001 as Bill, Marta and their family have accommodated hunters and guests on their farm.
New owners Kurt and Kellie (Haines) Stukel, Wade and Heather (Haines) Blomgren, Aaron and Hilary (Haines) Veskrna, and Bennett and Heather (Lahammer) Haines are looking forward to building on the success of Dakota Family Farms by also offering additional amenities under the umbrella company, West River Haven.
West River Haven’s new owners will continue to offer the very best pheasant hunting experience in the most breathtakingly beautiful landscape in South Dakota, known as “God’s Country,” just across the Missouri into West River. The new business owners plan to not only continue the service and quality Bill, Marta, and family have established with Dakota Family Farms’ Pheasant Hunting but to also offer corporate retreats, business outings, guided fishing charters, prairie dog hunting, and long rage shooting.
The lodge at the Gray House Inn will provide accommodations for groups up to 18 and serve as an exceptional venue for weddings, reunions, or corporate gatherings in addition to the Dakota Family Farm Lodge adjoining West River Haven hunting ground.
