West River Haven offers an all-inclusive pheasant hunting package at an affordable price. If you are looking for a pheasant hunting service that is known for excellent bird populations, ﬁne food, comfortable lodging and hospitality second to none, this hunt is for you! West River Haven’s hunting land is 7 miles north of Gregory, SD, right in the heart of pheasant country.

What To Expect For Meals:
Breakfast Includes: Cinnamon French Toast, Caramel Pecan Rolls, Blueberry Coffee Cake,
Double-Smoked Bacon, Ham and Cheese Omelets, Eggs Benedict and Almond Pancakes.
Lunch or Dinner Includes: Pheasant Dinners, Perfect Prime Rib, Grilled Steaks, Fried Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Pork Medallions, Roast Beef, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Homemade Bread.
Dessert Includes: Homemade Ice Cream and choice of Homemade Apple or Chocolate Cream Pie.

Prairie Dog Hunting

West River Haven offers an all-inclusive pheasant hunting package at an affordable price. Whether you are looking for action or precision we have a hunt tailored for you. We offer Prairie Dog hunts June – November. Calibers are at your discretion and it’s recommended to bring more than one. West River Haven provides portable shooting benches, shooting mat, and bags for your comfort; feel free to bring your own if you would like. Sunscreen will not be provided, but is encouraged.

Enjoy comfortable lodging in Gregory at our Gray House Inn Bed & Breakfast. The Historic Gray House is an 18 bed, 7.5 bathroom facility, perfect for after the hunt relaxation and a good night’s rest.

West River Haven, located in Gregory, SD is within an hours drive of 3 Missouri River Lakes: Lake Francis Case, Lake Sharpe and Lewis & Clark Lake. These lakes host some of the most abundant walleye and smallmouth bass populations in the Midwest. If you are interested in traveling further, our guides are also familiar with Lake Oahe and Glacial Lakes region.

Catching fish doesn’t just happen. We will set you up with an experienced guide, to help you reel in and catch desired fish. Our fishing guide, Thomas Larson, has had multiple top 5 finishes in SD Elite Series, Masters Walleye Circuit and National Walleye Tour events. Thomas has guided hundreds of families, friends and co-workers to their limits. Different group sizes qualify for special pricing.

West River Haven provided an exceptional pheasant hunting experience! The professionalism and experience of the guides... along with the atmosphere they provide during the hunt is unmatched. Their dogs are the best I have hunted with. The hospitality, accommodations, and food were amazing. The number of pheasants on the property was incredible and we had no problem reaching our limit! Everything about this trip was amazing. I look forward to visiting them again and West River Haven will be the only pheasant hunting experience I recommend moving forward!read more
